Watlington Junior Badminton meets ex-Great Britain player Donna Kellogg MBE to coach a special session at Alive Lynnsport.

Donna had a career high world ranking of 4 in women’s doubles, she was a triple Olympian and gold medallist at European and Commonwealth Games level. Donna has also won 11 national doubles titles.

Donna and Anthony Clark were mixed doubles runners up in the World Championships in 2006. Donna is now a coach for Team Derby in the new National Badminton League, and we were very privileged to see her here in West Norfolk.

Donna brought along her Team GB tracksuit from the last Olympic Games she played in, plus her silver medal from the World Championships and 2 European Gold medals for the players to see, as well as autographing bags and kit for many of the children.

All the children thoroughly enjoyed learning from her coaching and playing skills, as well as gaining an insight into what makes a champion badminton player.
